The life clock calculator.

If you compress your entire life into 24 hours a day, how many hours are you now?

International age is calculated automatically.
Please enter the exact date.

Use of

  1. Select the date of birth. international age is automatically calculated.
  2. If you want to assume that you are 100 years old, choose your input and put 90 or 100.
  3. The calculation shows the current time and the remaining time and the number of weekends left to compress your life into 24 hours.

The calculation principle.

Calculation is a simple proportion. Current age ÷ life × 24 hoursThe moment of birth is midnight, and the moment of reaching life expectancy is the next midnight.

For example, if you were born in 1990 at age 36 in 2026, the life expectancy at age 84 is 42.9 percent. 10 to 17 minutes. If the same person reaches 100 years of age, their life expectancy will be reduced to 36% at 8:38 a.m.

By age 84, life expectancy is 20 years old at 5:43 am, 30 years old at 8:34 am, 40 years old at 11:26 am, 50 years old at 2:17 pm, 60 years old at 5:9 pm. It is interesting that the early 40s, often called the “return point of life,” are actually just before noon.

If you multiply 52.14 by the remaining number of years, you will get the remaining number of weeks, which is soon the number of weekends left. If you are 40 and expect to live 84 years old, you will have about 2,294 weekends left. It looks like a large number, but if you put it together with the fact that you only have four weekends a month, it makes a different impression.

This calculation is based on statistical averages and does not predict a person’s lifetime. Use the results only as references for fun and changing perspectives.

Knowing good information.

For a five-year-old, one year is 20% of his life, but for a fifty-year-old, one year is 2% of his life. The same year has a tenfold difference in proportion to the whole of his life, and the speed of his feelings also varies. The more the clock of his life moves into the afternoon, the faster the needle is, it is not a mistake, it is a matter of proportion.

It is a new experience that is often referred to in psychology as a way to increase physical time. The brain compresses the familiar routine to remember and records the unfamiliar experiences in detail. A month of leaving for work on the same route every day is remembered briefly, but the three days spent in the city you first visited remain long. Even if you can not increase the remaining time, this means that the density can be changed.

Life expectancy is not a fixed value. Life expectancy in the Bureau of Statistics has increased slightly every year, and especially today’s younger generations are more likely to live longer than the current average. So it makes sense to put life expectancy at 90 or 100 and re-calculate it. When the needle is shortened by two or three hours, it is clear that this is now a much earlier time than you think.

Frequently asked questions.

How do you calculate the life clock?

For example, if you are 36 years old and you are 84 years old, the rate of progress is 42.9%, and if you are 42.9% of 24 hours, 10 hours 17 minutes is the current time.

How old should I expect?

Basic values are set to be around 80 years old for men and 86 years old for women based on the Korean average, but the expectancy is constantly increasing, and it is realistic that the longer the younger generation lives, the longer it is.

Is this clock accurate?

It is not an accurate prediction. It is a parable that moves the statistical average to a familiar unit of a day. The lifespan of an individual is unknown, and the purpose of this calculation is not to predict the remaining time, but to view the moment from a different angle.

What does the life clock mean?

On average, the 40-year-old is around 11 o'clock in the morning, and the 50-year-old is around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. That's why it's still early in the late 30s that people feel late is the core of this calculator.

How to use the remaining time?

Look at the remaining weekends that appear together with the results. If you’re 40 and you’re 84 years old, the remaining weekends are approximately 2,290 times. It looks like a big number, but if you remember that it’s only four times a month, it reads differently.
